Kinotone Records, with little in the way of fanfare or fuss – much like it’s innovative, hard-working and unassuming originator, David Mapson Jnr., recently heralded it’s arrival within the musical firmament.

Kinotone’s impeccable credentials boast, “The patron saint of the unheard… run by former guitarist for The Underground Youth”, and that, “Kinotone is an independent record label, dealing in small run coloured vinyl releases for both emerging talent and more well known artists…”

No sooner was the Record Label established a little over 3 weeks ago, than the first announcement quickly followed;

Kinotone Records are beyond stoked to publicly announce the very first signing to the label….

rev rev rev bring to your ears sounds & noises that shatter the shoegaze tag into a million pieces… The tracks for the new LP are sounding utterly amazing, and you can soon expect announcements in regards to the release date and a UK tour…

The lads have just finished their final scheduled tour dates off with a grand finale in Dublin, and are now setting their sights firmly on their next album. Their second LP will be released through Kinotone Records in the summer of 2016, with extensive UK and European tour dates to be announced to fully support the release…

So go get behind them, turn up this beauty, off their debut album – and REPEAT.REPEAT.REPEAT…!

    Great to read about this, heard some good things about Kinotone, so happy to see them here. And the tunes posted ? First rate and looking forward to plenty more !
